After messing around for about a month trying to negotiate on a Fannie Mae foreclosure,
getting bid up over list price, having a dismal home inspection, my buyer finally gave up
and we went in search of a home NOT undergoing some foreclosure or short-sale procedure.
What a rigmarole to put someone through (but that should be the subject of another post).
 
There are plenty of regular folks just selling their properties the old-fashioned way that it
makes me wonder what's going to happen to all those troubled houses out there on the
market when the public gets sick and tired of playing that game?  I don't think the happy 
new owner of 2422 Larkwood has any regrets about not getting the FNMA contract through.

This beautiful 1 acre piece of vacant land located in the Jade Tree subdivision in Melbourne FL
is going to be the homesite for the new owner's dream home.  The transaction got a bit bumpy
when the appraisal came in low.  It is my opinion that the appraiser used 1 bad comparable, but
in this conservative lending climate, we just had to deal with it.  Considering the previous owners  
had paid $233,500, they undoubtedly felt they had given enough.  Fortunately we had a willing
buyer and seller so were able to get the transaction closed.  In the end everyone accomplished
